ABCGN Examination Program

This Examination Handbook has been published to help you through the examination process. You can make the process easier for yourself by following these easy steps:

1. Read through the entire handbook before beginning. Reading through the handbook completely will help you become acquainted with the process and will help to prevent errors.
   
2. Discard all previous handbooks and forms. Use only the application forms provided with this handbook.
3. Follow all instructions in the handbook carefully. Type or print all information legibly.
4. Submit your materials by the appropriate deadline.
   
5. A completed application package includes:
   
   • A signed Application Form;
   • A Verification of Professional Qualifications Form, with an attached copy of your RN license if applicable. In states where it is unlawful to photocopy professional licenses, a current license must be presented at the examination site during the registration period. If you will show your license at the examination site instead of including a copy of it with your application, check the appropriate box on the application form.
   • A Payment Form with an attached check made payable to “ABCGN” or a signed charge authorization for appropriate fees. Be certain to include late fees if you are paying after the filing deadline but before the late filing deadline.

   Use a paperclip for any attachments. Please do not staple.

   Remember, an incomplete application will delay processing and may result in a $20.00 reprocessing fee if your application must be returned to you.
